When you are forty and have to romance pretty young things for the camera, you gotta look young and sprightly. But Saif Ali Khan is rumoured to have picked the easier option and taken botox shots to get rid of facial lines to play the young Jai in Love Aaj Kal, which released today.
However, the actor denies the rumour and says the secret of his young looks is not botox.
“I’ll never go for botox because the lines on your face come with experience. I’m proud of them,” he said at a recent press conference to promote the film.
So what’s the secret of his youthful look in the movie, co-starring Deepika Padukone.
“Yoga, sensible eating, weight training, and disciplined lifestyle,” replied Saif.
The actor, however, admits that when he began his Bollywood career he hadn’t imagined that he would keep getting leading roles till he’s forty.
“Forty is a good age though when I entered the industry 20 years ago, I thought they’d tell me to pack up and leave when I touched forty!” Saif said.
Saif added that his newly launched film production company would keep producing films that can be watched by the family audience. He added that he dreams of producing a spaghetti western or a period film
