As the big day draws closer, Amitabh Bachchan’s tensions were relieved by Shahrukh Khan. Yes, SRK has set the mood right for Big B by assuring his presence for the Paa premiere.
Big B posted on his blog about SRK, “He is a very funny man and shakes me into joviality when I inform him about the premiere and his absolute presence there”. He tells me, “He is already there, black suited and with anticipation of seeing ‘Paa’.”
Mr. Bachchan’s nervousness, curiosity, anticipation, confusion, all is reflected in these lines: “Slowly but surely the jig saw puzzle will begin to unfold. The test of all our hours and hours of effort at the film shall now be up for scrutiny. And within two hours and 14 minutes the verdict shall be passed. Once passed, shall remain passed. Such is the destiny of those that participate in this wondrous game of filmmaking.”
Happy with SRK’s confirmation, Big B is looking forward to December 3 when ‘Paa’ premiere is planned. As stated, he is very anxious to know the critics’ reaction and the way audience will take the film, as a lot of hard work is involved. Amitabh used to sit for 5-6 hours to put on the make up of a 12-year-old boy. Director R. Balki called makeup expert Stephan Dupuis to give him that uniquely strange look.
Like Amitabh and Shahrukh, we are also eager to watch ‘Paa’.
