Sealed with a kiss
The proverbial meeting of two roses has long been passé. Now, the actors in Bollywood do the real thing, and quite lip-smackingly at that. Slurp! Slurp!
Smooching and snogging between co-stars happened quite frequently in 2009. For the first time on screen, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor docked their lips in a steamy bedroom scene in Kurbaan. Soha Ali Khan too crossed her self-set barriers for a sizzling smooch with Emraan Hashmi. John Abraham was seen canoodling with Katrina Kaif in New York while Akshay Kumar rained kisses on Karena Kapoor in Kambakkht Ishq.

Translating their real chemistry on screen, Saif and Kareena set the screen ablaze with their smouldering intimacy in ‘Kurbaan’. The lip-lock and the accompanying lovemaking, however, failed the save the film from doom at box office.
Soha-Emraan
The girl-next-door Soha was quite bashful and irresolute about cozying up to the serial kisser, but it was the persuasion skills of director Kunal Deshmukh that made Soha drop her inhibitions and go for the lip lock. The result is for all to see.
Randeep-Sushmita
Randeep Hooda and Sushmita Sen were an item at the time when they shot this kiss for Karma and Holi. No wonder Sush looked snug as a bug in the scene.
John-Katrina
Don’t know if Salman fumed after seeing the scintillating love scene between his gorgeous squeeze and his longtime foe in ‘New York’, but John and Kat did look comfy slipping between the sheets in the song “Mere Sang”.
Akshay-Kareena
Akki showered kisses on Kareena and Denise Richards in this comedy by Sajid Nadiadwala. Surprisingly, at the film’s end, it was Kareena who ‘silenced’ a blabbering Akki with her smacking liplocks.
Shahid-Priyanka
Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra set the temperature soaring with a very intimate kiss in Kaminey. Though the kiss’s pic was never released by the makers, the images from the promotional photoshoots were no less steamy.
Randeep-Riya
Randeep Hooda again! This time the girl at the receiving end of his lips is the lovely Riya Sen. The film Love Khichdi had Ranbir playing a compulsive flirt.
Saif-Deepika
The perfunctory smooch between Deepika Padukone and Saif in Love Aaj Kal didn’t get into Censor trouble because it was “cute” and “not vulgar”.
