Aishwarya Rai has absolutely no doubt that her hubby Abhishek Bachchan will one day make a terrific father, when they have their first baby. The actress was quizzed about Abhi’s ability to raise a child because he plays the father of his dad Amitabh Bachchan in this Friday’s release Paa.
“Everybody has been asking me if Abhishek will be a good pa in connection with the release of our forthcoming production ‘Paa’. I think it’s silly for me to be even making the statement. It’s given – I married the man. So obviously I have the conviction in the husband he is or the father he will be,” Ash is quoted as saying by a news agency.
Elaborating further, Ash said that she has seen how well Abhishek gets along with kids.
“I’ve seen him with his niece and nephew since the time they were babies. He is so great with kids.” Ash revealed.
Commenting on Abhi’s fatherly qualities, she added, “He is very real, very rooted and very human – which I absolutely relate to.”
When asked if she would love to have a son or daughter, Ash said: “Whatever god has in store for us in life.”
A few months back, Abhi had revealed in an interview that he would love to have two kids from Ash – a daughter and a son. ‘Hum Do, Hamare Do’, he had said.
