Donald Trump, Liz Warren trade barbs on Indian heritage

WASHINGTON DC- MAY 18 U.S. Sen. Jon Tester listens to Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin at a Senate Banking Committee and International Policy hearing on Capital Hill

He made light of Warren's previous claims that she has some Native American heritage, a frequent subject of his attacks on the MA senator. He told supporters in Great Falls that he'd like to debate her so he could toss her an ancestry test and challenge her to take it. Trump said he'd give $1 million to charity if it "shows you are an Indian", adding, "I have a feeling she will say no", per CNN. "We will take that little kit and. we have to do it gently because we're in the "MeToo" generation so we have to be very gentle".

In a tweet following his speech, Warren said, "Hey, @realDonaldTrump: While you obsess over my genes, your Admin is conducting DNA tests on little kids because you ripped them from their mamas & you are too incompetent to reunite them in time to meet a court order". "Maybe you should focus on fixing the lives you're destroying".

"How did he get elected?"

In a freewheeling speech in Montana, Trump cycled through many of his favourite themes but repeatedly returned to vigorous campaign-year attacks on Democrats.

A vote for a Republican is a vote for Trump-and that's what the president is driving home, as he's made it a habit to attack both political parties.

"We need Matt Rosendale in the Senate to continue our fight", he said. "President Trump, I'll clear my schedule for whenever you are ready to sit down and talk about how we can get to work for Big Sky Country".

"Allright, you can right your wrong in November, OK?" Tester's criticism helped lead to Jackson withdrawing his nomination over allegations of misconduct at the White House medical office, angering Trump. The Pentagon is investigating.

Elizabeth Warren, a possible challenger in 2020, and California Rep. Maxine Waters, who has called for the president's impeachment since past year. "If you wanna save ICE.you better vote Republican".

Back at the rally, Trump alighted on Russian Federation and his upcoming summit with Putin.

He went after Germany for not spending more of its budget on defence and claimed to have delivered an ultimatum to Chancellor Angela Merkel.

President Trump declared it was "time to retire" US Senator Jon Tester on Thursday as he campaigned in Montana against the lawmaker he blames for derailing his nominee to lead the Department of Veterans Affairs. "Totally prepared", the president said.

"Democrats want anarchy", Mr. Trump said. Trump has denied all accusations against him. He teased the announcement of his Supreme Court pick and a possible slogan for his 2020 campaign. So, you bet Tester, who quarterbacked the kill Ronny effort, was going to be a target in last night's rally. The event is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.

In the midterm elections this fall, Republican candidate Matt Rosendale hopes to unseat incumbent Democrat Sen.
