Boat explosion in Bahamas kills one American tourist, others injured

All that remained of the boat after the explosion near Exuma Bahamas which killed one person was a burned out frame

An American woman is dead and nine other people were injured following an explosion aboard a tour boat in the Bahamas early Saturday, according to officials.

Her family has set up a GoFundMe page to help pay for medical expenses.

They were on a small boat that exploded off the coast of Exuma on Saturday. It's not clear what caused the boat to burst into flames.

Stefanie sustained life-threatening injuries.

The relative said Stefanie's mother Stacey is also being treated in Nassaum after suffering multiple broken bones and internal injuries. Paul and Brooke suffered bruises and cuts.
