Here's the Amazon Echo Deal of the Year

Kohl’s Corporation

Kohl's Corporation (NYSE:KSS) just became the latest traditional retailer to strike a deal with Amazon (AMZN) to sell Amazon Echo speakers and other products in its brick-and-mortar stores.

Beginning in October the 10 stores will be the areas of Los Angeles and Chicago where can customers can walk into a Kohl's location and go to the Amazon Smart Home section and purchase Amazon products.

"Kohl's and Amazon share a customer obsession", Gass added in a statement. The company is betting on incremental sales from increased traffic as shoppers are drawn to the Amazon store-within-a-store. Kohl's is scheduled to release earnings figures on November 10.

Customers can also ask to have an Amazon employee come to their home to install the devices or suggest products.

Vermont Water Rescue Team Deploys To Texas
Montgomery County plus Fairfax County have sent their specialized urban search and rescue teams to help. They will set up their own shelter and are bringing their own food and water.

'Teaming up with Kohl's provides an incredible opportunity to pair world-class customer and shopping experiences'. This deal is good for the refurbished model, which Amazon says is "refurbished, tested, and certified to look and work like new".

Same-store sales - a metric used to evaluate the sales of retail stores - dropped 0.4 percent at Kohl's last quarter.

United has announced that travellers can now check in and learn about flights by using their Amazon Echo and Alexa-enabled devices. Customers will also have access to Amazon Home Services, which connects consumers to local services and businesses. Shares were above 5 percent early morning.

This partnership comes after Amazon started putting its fingerprints on organic grocer Whole Foods. For starters, it can latch onto your smart home setup, allowing you to control different aspects of your devices using the power of your voice.
