India's Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane run between wickets on Day 1 of the 2nd Test against Sri Lanka at Colombo

Ravindra Jadeja will not play the third Test against Sri Lanka in Pallekele, starting next weekend, and that could prove to be a blessing in disguise for India.

This is for the second time in a row that India have accomplished a Test series win in Sri Lanka - a tricky as well as challenging Test venue for many great sides.

Sri Lanka had handed India the advantage after being dismissed for 183 in their first innings and conceding a 439-run lead.

At the start, Karunaratne added 40 runs with nightwatchman Malinda Pushpakumara (16) for the third wicket.

Sri Lanka has suffered injury related issues in the series.

The big moment of the session came in the 66th over when K L Rahul dropped Karunaratne (then on 95) at short leg off Jadeja, which didn't prove costly in the long run.

"You expect teams playing Test cricket to come out and play like that".

"We ended up enforcing the follow on because we felt we have enough on the board not to bat again. It's all about not getting too frustrated". "As a batsman, it's very hard to keep carrying on for four sessions and that's exactly what we spoke as a team".

The Bahrain-based 5th Fleet also claimed that several Iranian vessels were approaching American ships "at a high rate of speed". The measure would also apply terrorism sanctions to Iran's elite Revolutionary Guard and enforce an arms embargo.

Kohli now has 18 wins under his belt-only three less than India's second-most successful captain Sourav Ganguly (21). We want to win anywhere that we play.

Jadeja was found guilty of breaching article 2.2.8 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Player and Player Support Personnel which relates to throwing a ball (or any other item of cricket equipment such as a water bottle) at or near a player, player support personnel, umpire, match referee or any other third person in an inappropriate or unsafe manner, the ICC said.

Given a surprise debut against Australia in Dharamsala, interestingly as the replacement for the injured Kohli, Kuldeep made full use of that opportunity, taking four first innings wickets.

"We are still talking to them and trying to convince them how important it is for Pakistan cricket to host some worldwide matches at home", he added.

The Match Referee awarded him 3 points after he threw the ball dangerously at the batsman.

However, India will badly miss Jadeja's services in the third and final Test starting Saturday in Pallekele, after the ICC slapped the all-rounder with a one-match ban and a fine for unsafe play.

An all-round performance by team India saw the visitors register an emphatic win over Sri Lanka.

Team India has developed a habit of winning, irrespective of geographical boundaries, and it is hungry to extend the consistent run, said Kohli after his side's win. If you see last season, continuing now, he's got about 1500 runs which is outstanding.
