Asus has been a little quiet in the United Kingdom recently when it comes to smartphones, while it's impressing with phones in the USA and Asia. Now, the company is all set to add another device to its smartphone portfolio this month. The Zenfone 4 Pro is the new addition from the previous generation and might be the leader of the lot in terms of specifications.

ASUS has also pushed out promotional images for the ZenFone 4 prior to this, and these have indicated that the phone will be utilizing a dual-camera system.

Judging from Asustek's orders to component suppliers, shipments of the ZenFone 4 range are likely to reach over eight million units in the second half of 2017, according to sources from Taiwan's handset supply chain.

Just yesterday, we reported that Asus will be unveiling the ZenFone 4 smartphones on August 19 in the Philippines.

It was earlier speculated for the Zenfone 4 to be unveiled in mid-July, however, the launch has seen a delay and the final date is now out. The screen sizes for these devices would be different from each other and of course the camera sensors as well. Now, there's no official word on what the Zenfone 4 that's being teased might offer. The phone won't be unveiled in the United Kingdom, however.
