The new Twin Peaks trailer has us more intrigued than ever

I didn't think it was possible for us to be more excited about Showtime's revival of "Twin Peaks", and then this new promo arrived... Or to put it in terms that the show itself is familiar with: "It is happening again". It seems that someone has been living in the woods as the trailer sees an RV parked there along with lots of furniture and junk around. What is shown, however, is that David Lynch himself will be making another appearance in the revival series as Agent Gordon Cole, whose partner Agent Albert Rosenfield, played by the late Miguel Ferrer, also receives on-screen time.

You even fully expect Bob to come jumping out of the darkness - despite the fact that Frank Silva, the actor who played him, sadly passed away in 1995. The two seemingly are in a serious talk as Cole is seen calling out his colleague's name.

David Lynch has certainly been playing this one close to the chest, hasn't he?

Arsene Wenger finally gets Premier League win over Jose Mourinho
Paul Pogba is convinced Manchester United can make the top four - despite Jose Mourinho's insistence they have already blown it.

Finally, there's a haunting shot of Agent Dale Cooper (Kyle Maclachlan) behind the wheel. "It does not go outside the USA, but it is in multiple locations in the U.S", Showtime CEO David Nevins said in a recent interview.

The series also stars returning cast members Mädchen Amick, Peggy Lipton, James Marshall, Michael Horse, Kimmy Robertson, Harry Goaz, Dana Ashbrook, Sheryl Lee, Everett McGill, Russ Tamblyn, Grace Zabriskie, Sherilyn Fenn, and David Duchovny.

In its second week, Twin Peaks will air the third and fourth parts back-to-back on Showtime, starting at 9 p.m. ET/PT, followed by one-part episodes in subsequent weeks.
