A phishing attack is a popular method of stealing credentials and hacking into people's emails, bank accounts or other private accounts.

On agreement, the app would send additional copies of the original email to the users' contacts. You can then change your password and turn on two-step authentication. It stopped the phishing campaign within one hour of its launch.
