Trump ripped for dipping back into controversy over Democratic 'debate answers'

Trump tweet storm questions Clinton, Podesta, praises surveillance reporting

It's been almost five months since Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton on Election Day, but the president can't seem to let her go. Aside from the triviality of what actually happened-and the fact that it happened during the primaries, not during the debates against Trump-we have Trump's assumption that Hillary Clinton received the "answers" to debate questions, as if they're tests that have right and wrong responses.

WikiLeaks release of hacked Podesta emails say the Clinton campaign was given a hint about a question the Democratic presidential candidate would be asked at a town hall during the Democratic primary.

The morning program "Fox and Friends" aired a segment with former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, in which Gingrich decried the allegations about Trump's involvement with the Russian government as "absurd". The president may also have been referencing reports in The Daily Caller about Podesta's shares in a firm with links to Russian investors.

On Monday, Trump also sought to draw attention to a Fox News report that a senior US official authorized unmasking information collected in incidental surveillance that is believed to have included members of Trump's team and possible the president himself. "Spied on before nomination".

The Hong Kong election is not a direct one; candidates are voted by an election committee, mostly comprising pro-Beijing members. He said police told him to report to their station, where he would be arrested for violating public nuisance and incitement laws.

The president early Monday also questioned whether "the brother of John Podesta paid big money to get the sanctions on Russian Federation lifted".

Over the weekend, Trump also tried to steer the media's attention back to the "real story": his evidence-free claim that former President Barack Obama had ordered the wiretapping of Trump Tower before the election. "Would be sad for U.S.", Trump tweeted on Saturday afternoon.

Trump has only been in office a few months and he's already living in the past.

"The real story turns out to be SURVEILLANCE and LEAKING!" the president declared.
