Lincoln's Cowley masterminds seismic Cup shock at Burnley

Lincoln City, the Imps, are one victory away from Wembley.

The main incident came in the second half of Burnley's FA Cup fixture against Lincoln City, when Barton was preparing to defend a free kick.

Lincoln has made almost $1.24 million from this cup run, putting the club back in the black for the first time in years. Millwall's third win over Premier League opposition this season, secured by Shaun Cummings's late goal, would ordinarily have topped the shocks, but they were outdone by Lincoln.

Many Premier League and Championship sides now field weakened teams in domestic cup competitions leading to accusations of disrespecting the world's oldest senior football knockout tournament. Swindon, as a non-league side, made it to the semi-finals in 1911/12. That or they get a 0-0 draw and play a replay at home.

They became the first non-league side to reach the last eight in 103 years, but Barton's conduct attracted plenty of criticism.

Jon Flanagan was part of the Burnley side that were knocked out of the FA Cup by Lincoln on Saturday - and Liverpool fans were disappointed with his display.

The season after Leicester won the Premier League at odds of 5,000-1, English soccer is looking at another famous underdog story.

LEAs killed 32 terrorists in a crackdown against terrorists after Sehwan Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar shrine blast. On February 13, a suicide bomber had struck a protest in Lahore, killing 13 and injuring 85.

Middlesbrough saw a two goal lead disappear as Oxford City scored twice in three minutes and just as another shocked looked likely Boro' scored a late victor to take the tie 3-2.

Turned out, Lincoln City didn't need the replay as in the 89th minute, Sean Raggett headed in a long headed cross that just got over the line and thanks to goal line technology, left it clear to the referee that the non-league side had scored.

Lincoln head to Turf Moor on a four-match winning run in all competitions.

They had already made history by becoming the second non-league team - the other being Sutton United - to reach the FA Cup fifth round since the Football League was founded in 1888.

"The last eight of the FA Cup - it just sounds really good", Cowley added.

"It was a amusing old game, and awkward day with the weather, but they did enough to win", said Dyche.

While Gillingham might have suffered the embarrassment of an FA Cup giant-killing, one of the club's former youth players has been busy dishing them out.
